I write stories about the things we carry about love and longing, heartbreak and laughter, the memories that haunt us, and the moments that set us free. My work moves between memoir, fiction, young adult, and suspense, but at its heart it’s always about intimacy, emotion, and the belief that stories can make us feel less alone.
My debut, The Soundtrack of Gay Lives (2025), is a mixtape in story form with fifty lyrical short stories inspired by the songs that helped me find my voice, make sense of heartbreak, and uncover the shape of home. Structured like a double LP, it’s a collection about queer memory, music, and the moments that linger long after the last note fades.
That same year, I released Things I Probably Shouldn’t Share: Confessions from an Unapologetic Oversharer, fifty-three true stories proving that the strangest, most ridiculous moments in life are the ones that stick. With dry wit and an unfiltered voice, I turn awkward childhoods, messy families, bad jobs, and everyday disasters into something hilarious, oddly comforting, and sometimes surprisingly moving.
Coming in 2026 is my young adult novel, The Summer Before We Left. I’m also developing two suspenseful, atmospheric projects, The Cabin Knows and She Sees Everything, early explorations of haunting, memory, and the secrets we fear sharing.
When I’m not writing, usually weekends with music on repeat in my earbuds, I serve as CEO of a digital agency, where I lead a team of technologists and strategists. I live in Colorado with my husband, Dale, and our rescue dog, Emmy, and I believe the best stories, on the page or in life, are the ones that linger.
